Perfect property. We loved being on the beach. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. It was perfect. The property was clean and comfortable. We absolutely love this place. I could go on and on about the property but it pales in comparison to the fabulous customer service we received. Every question was promptly answered. They never acted as if we were annoying or bothersome. They were so helpful and kind. I hope to return to Flip Flops and Sun but whenever I book a beach trip I will definitely use Beachball Properties again.

This house was exactly what we needed. Very nice accommodations. Had more than enough room for the four of us and then some. The decked walkway to the beach made it super easy to get down to the beach without having to trek over the dunes. That was a big bonus for us. Overall we were extremely pleased with the house and it had everything we could have possibly needed. The only negative thing I could possibly say or maybe a warning to others is avoid the driveway on the left side of the house unless you have 4WD. One of our vehicles got stuck in the deep sand in the driveway on that side. Not really a big deal, the local Beachball rep was able to suggest a reasonable towing service to assist us. We really appreciated her assistance. Beanball Properties was really easy to work with and constantly communicated with us from the initial reservation up through leaving. Would definitely recommend booking with them and we will definitely use them again.

This is the perfect family beach getaway!! Away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Clean pristine beach with no crowds with the easiest access you could ever dream of. House was exactly as described; clean with comfortable beds and extra pillows and bedding in hand.

We had a great time! The home was very clean and nicely updated and the location, oceanfront, was perfect! My kids especially like all the beach toys and crab nets. Something to watch out for, the stairs in front are quite steep but the ramp around back made that climb easier. We would definitely rent here again.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

  • RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

  • NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

  • AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years old to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

  • CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

  • CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

  • DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable pet fee. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

  • MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

  • PARKING PASSES: Adequate Parking for four (4) vehicles maximum. No parking pass required. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner’s Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation terms depend on where you book. Reservations made on Airbnb or Vrbo follow the cancellation policy shown on that site at checkout. Reservations made directly with Beachball Properties: cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a 100% refund, 14 to 29 days before check-in for a 50% refund, and less than 14 days before check-in, no refund. Refunds are not issued for late arrivals, early departures, or weather, including hurricanes and named storms. We recommend optional travel insurance.

  • WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

  • RATES: Rates subject to change up until time of booking. Additional fees and taxes may apply.

Night 1 slept in original rental, it was nice and right in the middle of everything OB! Next morning woke up to some mishaps downstairs with the plumbing. Called the office and by lunchtime they had two options ready. They also treated us to lunch at Tacky Jacks while they got the new Crib ready. Will rent again.

Can I Park An Extra Car At My Rental?

Each property is individually owned and subject to HOA regulation. The HOA management and/or owners designate the number of parking places available. All relevant parking information can be found in the property description. The BEACHBALL Team supplies the available parking passes to guests which means that there are no other parking passes or spaces available. Some properties require guests to purchase parking passes onsite. You will receive this information at time of booking.

If you must bring more cars than the allotted number of spaces, be sure to arrange parking before you arrive. If you are staying in Orange Beach, reach out to Gulf Coast Rental Co. at 251.510.7226. If you are staying in Gulf Shores, reach out to Pier 33 Grocery at 251.948.6689.

Unfortunately, no. We cannot allow commercial use of our vacation rental properties.  This also means no parties. All rentals are in residential areas and may NOT be used for weddings, receptions, parties, or large gatherings. Any disruptive events could result in the eviction and forfeiture of the entire rental amount.

Reporting Issues

What Do I Do If There's An Issue At My Rental During My Stay?

We work hard to prevent any disturbances during your stay, but as we all know, issues can arise.

Step one: Call us immediately to report any cleaning, emergency, or maintenance issues. We may be reached 24/7 at 251-968-8896.

Step two: Relax. We are here to help your vacation be as smooth as possible.

Please note that after hours (past 5 P.M.), you will be charged a service call fee for calls regarding operator error or non-emergency issues. Service call fees start at $50 and are payable immediately to the service technician. Charged service calls include but are not necessarily limited to: locking keys inside the property, batteries in remotes not working, light bulbs out or missing, and a refrigerator not cooling due to not following the instructions provided by giving 12-18 hours for items to cool down properly.

What Is Supplied In My Rental For My Stay?

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES represents premium vacation rental properties along the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast. None of these properties are classified as hotels. Because of this, a “starter pack” of supplies is provided to begin your vacation. This “starter pack” includes: two (2) trash bag per can, one (1) toilet paper roll per bathroom, one (1) paper towel roll, one (1) dishwasher detergent, one (1) washing machine detergent, and one (1) sponge. Guests are responsible for any additional items/supplies you will need for your stay.

Linens and towels are supplied per the occupancy of the rental. Additional towels are not provided outside of this number. If needed, a washer and dryer is are available at the rental properties, and provided towels may be washed. Although linens are furnished, please bring your own beach towels, as we ask that linens not be removed from the property.

What Do We Do If Amenities, Internet, Or Television/Cable Isn't Working At Our Rental?

The BEACHBALL team will make all efforts to the best of our ability to correct any and all issues that may occur at your rental during your stay; however, the working condition of pools, hot tubs, air conditioners, cable, phones, Wi-Fi, TVs, appliances, elevators, grills, etc., are NOT guaranteed. We also cannot guarantee  that pools will be heated or in working order. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures and malfunctioning equipment or amenities. These amenities are extras provided in addition to your vacation rental. Further, each property Homeowners Association or third-party vendor(s) manage Wi-Fi and cable; accordingly, we cannot guarantee these services.

What Do I Do If I Left Something Behind?

Leaving an item behind is always a stressful situation. Unfortunately, our management team cannot assume any responsibility for lost, stolen, or abandoned items. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Guest should we find an item left behind in your rental. In addition, Management shall not be held liable for the condition of items left behind. Any items not claimed for longer than 30 days may be donated or sold.

We encourage all guests to leave sentimental items and valuables at home. Before check-out, be sure to make one last pass-through your rental before you depart to check for any personal items.

Rules

Can I Smoke At The Rental?

For the protection of each property and the continued enjoyment for of all our guests, all properties are non-smoking, and smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Any evidence of smoking (such as the smell of smoke, presence of any ashes, burns on furniture, etc.) will result in a fine of $500.

Can I Bring My Pet?

BEACHBALL does boast some DOG-friendly properties! Be sure to look for rentals marked as DOG-FRIENDLY. All dog-friendly properties require payment of a non-refundable dog-deposit to cover additional cleaning costs. All other properties do not allow pets, even temporarily. We do NOT allow any pets other than DOGS. Any evidence of pets (such as pet hair, urine stains, etc.) will result in a $300 fine. You will also be fined if you fail to notify our staff that you are bringing your dog and/or fail to pay the non-refundable dog-deposit.

What Can We Take On The Beach?

We know you love our beach! Everyone who visits our beautiful coast is responsible for protecting and preserving it, and the cities of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Perdido Key strive to provide a safe, clean, family-friendly environment for everyone visiting. To help you do your part, please take time to review the following rules, regulations, and tips:

  • Any structures or equipment left on the beach an hour after sunset will be removed and disposed of by beach patrol.
  • The following items are not allowed on our beaches: Glass containers, metal shovels or excessive digging, litter, tents or structures larger than 12’x12’, overnight camping, fireworks, loud music, fires, pets, vehicles, or illegal drugs.
  • Keep off the dunes. Staying off the dunes will help us to preserve our dune system and the habitat it provides. Use beach walkovers and boardwalks where provided.
  • Observe and obey the Beach Warning Flag System. Double red flags mean the waters are closed for your safety.
