In Orange Beach, The Wharf is hosting Gameday on the Green every Saturday through November 28, with football on giant outdoor screens beginning at 11 a.m. There’s plenty of room for families to spread out, plus cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect 4, and other games between plays. Best of all, admission is free.

For a more traditional sports-bar atmosphere, The Sloop in Gulf Shores has plenty of TVs, cold drinks, cheesesteaks, and the kind of laid-back local atmosphere that pairs nicely with a Saturday or Sunday afternoon game.

Over in Orange Beach, Old Salt Tavern offers made-from-scratch food, plenty of screens, and a neighborhood sports-bar feel. And if your main requirement is simply a good seat, a cold drink, and a television within eyesight, you’ll find plenty of other spots throughout Gulf Shores and Orange Beach ready for kickoff.

Because around here, game day doesn’t require giving up your beach day. It just means finding the right place to cheer.

And if pizza is your crew’s game-day tradition, local favorites like Crico’s, Surfside Pizza, Pizza at The Pass, Vinny’s Pizzeria, and Nonna’s Pizzeria make an easy addition to the lineup.

Then all that’s left to do is claim your spot on the couch and settle in. The kitchen island becomes the buffet, the living room becomes game-day headquarters, and the Gulf is waiting right outside when the final whistle blows.
